Open the cover you can see what is inside the DVD player. It consist of a mainboard, power supply board and the disc tray/lens assembly.
When I checked on the output voltages I found that the output voltages were low and fluctuates. I also did not see any bulged e-caps in the power supply board.
I had to remove the power supply board and concentrate on checking the components. It seems that most of the components were checked to be good. From experience, fluctuating output problem usually were due to bad components in the Optopisolator IC or the TL431 IC.
Since both components can’t be accurately check by using a multi-meter, i decided to direct replace the components and retest. See the two photos in the below:
